Estate Fence is sometimes called a Crossbuck (Cross-buck) Fence or Horse Fence or Ranch Fence or Corral Fence in some parts of US.
Estate fence is a terrific style for an open, natural-looking fence. Just like split rail fence, if you like to protect a large area, this fence is an alternate economic option. Estate fence also uses much less wood compared to privacy fences. An Estate fence can be used as a corral fence to contain horses or as a property fence.
As in the case of split rail fence, when pets or children are involved, a wire mesh can be affixed to the inner or outer face of the estate fence for additional protection.
