Deck Repair or Reflooring

We do not build new Decks

As a business strategy, during the busy season, we focus on building fences. However we can repair or re-floor your existing deck. Shown below are some of the specific services we offer for your deck.

Before you decide to build a new deck, we can help you decide whether it is economical and efficient to repair or re-floor (rebuild) your existing deck. In fact in most cases, your old deck’s underlying structure may still be intact to be used (with some minor repairs) for a decade or more of extended service.

Replacing Damaged Deck Flooring

The deck floor may be the first thing that gets damaged. When deck flooring breaks or wears out, more than the looks of the deck are involved. A weak spot in the floor is dangerous and can lead to further damage. Unless the whole floor is weakened, you can easily replace the damaged boards. If your structural beams are intact you can just replace the damaged boards. If majority of the boards require replacement, you can even chose to replace all the floor boards with a wood composite which will give you a maintenance free new deck.
Replacing the Joists

Replacing the Joists

While re-flooring your deck, we will also identify the joists that need to be replaced. If only a few joists are bad, it may be more economical to replace them than rebuilding the entire structure.
Finishing up

Finishing up

Once the face-lift of your deck is done by reflooring, your deck will look as good as a brand new deck, even when using the existing structure. This will result in significant savings in cost and time compared to building a brand new deck.
